Our Littles are able to join us as young as 4+ and our school goes all the way through high school. All siblings are welcome on school days if the parents are staying to help with class. We’re a true family-style community, and we love when brothers and sisters can share the experience together.

We believe childhood deserves a slow, peaceful start to the day.
Our mornings begin at 9:00 AM, giving families time to connect before learning begins.
The Littles: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Yes and no. Our 3-day program provides ample schooling for many of our younger students at The Village alongside play and real life at home.
However, we do recommend adding in a math and reading curriculum as those skills are not directly taught to students here.

For the safety and protection of our students all families will be asked to go through our background check process to be on the campus grounds.

We’re thrilled to offer a full day Spanish Immersion Program!
The schedule mirrors our Tuesday curriculum, but all lessons and activities are conducted in Spanish. Students learn naturally through songs, games, conversation, and hands-on projects.

That’s perfectly okay! Our Spanish teacher gently guides students using context clues, repetition, and visual learning.Children are incredible language sponges, and immersion helps them pick up words and meaning quickly. Our goal isn’t perfection — it’s confidence and connection.

No — when your child goes home, we believe that is sacred family time.

The Village Schoolhouse is founded on Christian values. Our leadership and teachers operate from a Biblical worldview, and faith naturally shapes the character, culture, and rhythms of our community. We believe God is the Creator of the world, and our time spent learning through nature reflects that belief — cultivating gratitude, stewardship, humility, and wonder.
At the same time, we believe parents are the primary spiritual leaders in their children’s lives. Each family’s relationship with the Lord is deeply personal, and we honor the freedom of parents to guide their children’s faith journey according to their own convictions.
The Village Schoolhouse is here to walk alongside families, not to define their theology. We do not evaluate a child’s faith, require denominational alignment, or measure spiritual practice. We believe prayer and a relationship with the Lord are deeply personal — shaped first within the home — and should never feel like a performance or obligation within a classroom.
Our role is to live out our convictions with humility and integrity while honoring each family’s responsibility and freedom to guide their own faith journey. We live out our beliefs with integrity while creating a respectful and welcoming environment for families who desire a Christ-centered foundation and the freedom to disciple their children in their own homes.
-
We adapt! Our one-room schoolhouse is cozy and full of light, and we continue nature-inspired learning indoors through projects, music, and creative exploration.

Children are at the schoolhouse for 3 hours at a time. They are welcome to bring snacks but meals can be shared at home with their family!
