Start Your Own Village Schoolhouse
Across the country, many families are searching for something different for their children — a place where curiosity is protected, childhood is honored, and learning feels alive again.
The Village Schoolhouse was born from that same desire in our own home.
Like many mothers, I felt deeply called to be present with my children — to protect their childhood, nurture their curiosity, and build a life centered around family and community. But I also believed that the gifts God places in our hands are meant to be stewarded well.
Proverbs 31 speaks of a woman who “considers a field and buys it; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.” She multiplies what has been entrusted to her while caring for her household.
The Village Schoolhouse grew from that same idea.
What began as a small Schoolhouse created for our own children has grown into something much bigger… a vision for small, community-centered Schoolhouses in neighborhoods across the country. Places where families come together to cultivate wisdom, creativity, confidence, and character in the next generation.
Our mission is simple:
To help families reclaim the joy of learning and create places where children can grow in wonder, wisdom, and community.
And now, we are inviting mothers, educators, and community leaders to build their own Schoolhouses. To be a part of a growing network of Village Schoolhouses bringing the wonder of learning back to their own communities.
A Schoolhouse Model That Works
We have intentionally designed The Village Schoolhouse model to be simple, sustainable, and profitable, while still protecting the intimate, village-style environment that makes it so special.
Each Schoolhouse is intentionally small.
The Schoolhouses operate beautifully with 15–20 students per class, allowing educators to create meaningful relationships with children and families while maintaining a healthy and profitable program.
This model allows Schoolhouse founders to:
• Build a meaningful business serving their community and staying small enough to prioritize their family life.
• Keep overhead low
• Maintain small, community focused learning environments
Our goal is not to build massive schools.
Our goal is to build many small Schoolhouses that serve their communities well.
The Village Schoolhouse Network
When you start a Village Schoolhouse, you are not starting from scratch.
You become part of a growing network of Schoolhouses working together to change the trajectory of education for our children.
As part of the network, Schoolhouse founders receive access to:
• The Curriculum of Life™
• Our Schoolhouse model
• Founder training and onboarding
• Marketing support and brand assets
• Legal framework and operational guidance
• Ongoing mentorship and training
• A community of other Schoolhouse founders
You will also gain access to our shared network of Schoolhouse leaders — a place where ideas, resources, and wisdom are exchanged as we build this movement together.
Our goal is to make it possible for someone who feels called to build a Schoolhouse to actually do it — without having to figure everything out alone.
A Model Designed To Multiply
The Village Schoolhouse model was intentionally designed so that anyone who feels called to build a Schoolhouse can do so without starting from scratch.
We have done the groundwork behind developing the structure behind the scenes — creating systems, curriculum, and operational frameworks that allow founders to focus on what matters most: the children and families they serve.
The Village Schoolhouse system provides:
• A proven Schoolhouse operational model
• The Curriculum of Life™ framework
• Enrollment and admissions systems
• Parent communication tools
• Marketing guidance to attract founding families
• Founder training and ongoing support
This allows founders to launch a Schoolhouse that is both community-centered and financially sustainable.
Because Schoolhouses are intentionally kept small and relational, many operate successfully with just 15 students in The Littles and 15 in The Bigs.
